To help both recruit and support volunteers, it is helpful to be clear on the roles remit and responsibility. One way of doing this is by using a role outline to describe what is involved, the time commitment expected, how the role will make a difference and what benefit the individual will get. Templates for some of the roles required can be found at Volunteer Role Descriptors, but please bear in mind these are templates and should be adapted as necessary for your club.
