There are several different ways that you can recognise volunteers from a simple thank you, through to an awards evening. Annual celebrations such as Volunteers Week (which takes place from the 1st – 7th June) also provide a great opportunity to say thank you to your volunteers.
Outside of your club it’s also worth contacting your Constituent Body about their local volunteer recognition programme. Whilst the Honda Volunteer Recognition Programme provides national opportunities to recognise some of the volunteers who make up an integral part of the game.
