Lost Permission/Cannot View All Tiles/Modules

If you can’t see the 'Modules' you are normally used to seeing when logging on to GMS, then it could be one of these three reasons;

  • - Not logged into the Club/Society/CB/ Organisation

  • - Having multiple usernames and logging on with a different username which does not have assigned the permission level and role

  • - Only have one of both a 'Role and Permission' level needed to be assigned

Firstly, please check that you are logged into the correct Club/Society/CB in the top left hand corner of your screen by clicking on the 'Menu' app (nine grid icon next to the red rose).

If not, use the little horizontal arrows as per highlighted in red below to navigate to another Club/Society or CB from the drop down list or enter the 'Organisation' in the 'Quick Search' as per second screenshot.

    OR

If you have correctly logged into the Club/Society/CB, and the modules still do not appear, you need both a relevant 'Role and Permission Level' assigned to the username you are logged in with to view the correct modules.

To check this, go to your 'Account' > 'Summary' tab, which will show you if you have a 'Permission Level' assigned to the username you are currently logged in with.

The example shown below: the Level 3 Permission has been assigned to the username 'jonathonwilkinson', highlighted in Red.

If a permission level is not showing under the username you are signed in with, then you need to sign out and sign back in with the correct username (if you need to reset your password; see Guide for Resetting your Password). Alternatively, you can contact your level 5 permission holder 'Club Admin' and request to remove and re-assign your 'Permission Level' to your current username for you.

Your Club’s Honorary Secretary or Data Officer who usually have Level 5 permissions can do this for you, please refer to Guide to Assign Roles and Permissions if they are unsure.

** Please note if you can’t see the 'Competition Management Module', or can’t access the 'Match Card' (EMC), then you will need permission level 1, 3 or 5 and the 'Match Card Administrator' Role assigned to you.  See the Guide to Assign Roles and Permissions & Accessing Electronic Match Card Data as a Club Administrator on the portal for this.
