How To Create A Club Website

Club's have the ability to create a free club website using GMS. The website will be public facing and surface relevant information from a club's GMS pages to simplify administration.

Firstly, to enable the creation of a website clubs are asked to set up their bank details for online payments in GMS. Inserting details will allow access to the ‘create web site’ function.

To insert bank details, go to the Finance module in GMS.

Select Bank Details.

Select New in the top right-hand corner enter the clubs bank details, mark as default if main bank details, a accept the payment T&C’s and Save.

Once the Bank Details and T&C’s have been set up, still under the Finance module to Website Setup (this is found directly under Bank Details).

The ‘Account Status’ will display to show the club have entered bank details and accepted the payment T&C’s. From here this is where you can ‘Create A Club Website’.

A ‘website subdomain’ has been created for you e.g. clubname.rfu.club. If the club have their own domain name this can be configured after the creation of the website.

Accept the website T&C’s and click ‘Create Web Site’.

The website will start to configure, this can take several minutes.

Once configured you can ‘View Website’, this will direct you to the home page or ‘Edit Website’, this will direct you to the Sign In page to start adding and editing content.
