Existing AG player record and not linked to new or existing parent account

If you are a parent/guardian with an existing or a new account, you should be able to add your child to your 'Profile' by clicking on the ‘+Add’ under the 'Family and Friends' widget and enter your child's details.  If they have an existing account, it will come up with the message ‘Matching details already exist...’ and please select the record to use and link to your profile.

Club Admin

If you have an existing Age Grade player at your club and the parent has an existing account or newly created account and the parent cannot link themselves, then club administration can link the 2 accounts by adding a relationship.

**Note: If the parent is not linked to your club, please ask them to log into their GMS account and add your club/organisation under ‘My Organisation’ on their dashboard, otherwise you can add the parent to your organisation by following the instructions on the ‘How to Add People’ guide.

To add a relationship between parent and child accounts:

  • Locate the accounts on 'People' > 'Everyone' grid using the filters on the right hand side for addresses/surnames etc.
  • Select the 2 users where you wish to add a relationship in order to link the accounts.
  • Click the ‘More’ button in the top right-hand corner and select 'Add Relationship'
  • Choose the relevant relationship from the drop down list and click ‘Save’.

See the portal guide ‘How to Add A relationship’ for the detailed step by step instructions and video.

If the two accounts have different surnames or don’t live at the same address; you can select the users one at a time.  Locate one record and select the tick box and then locate the second record and select the tick box, followed by clicking the ‘More’ button and follow as per above.

If the Age Grade player is not linked to your club; please log a ticket with the Helpdesk to link these records with the player and parent details if the parent is unable to do this themselves.
