The Electronic Match Card function has the ability for players to be assigned a ‘Suspected Concussion’ flag This option will enable Match Card Administrators to determine when a player from their Match Day squad has sustained a suspected concussion. By selecting this field, specific HEADCASE guidance and information will be sent to the player (or parent of an age grade player), their assigned Coach/Team Manager and club’s RugbySafe Lead to help them recover from their injury and advise of the correct return to play protocols.
The facility to record this information on the Electronic Match Card is within the ‘score’ submission page and can be completed on both Desktop and Mobile versions of the tool.
All competitions from the national leagues and below will enable this functionality, if the option does not appear for any of your fixtures, please reach out to your league organiser.
Please note the information is also available on the HEADCASE pages on EnglandRugby.com.
