GMS Update - 29th November 2022

Please find below the release notes for the GMS deployment that is scheduled for deployment on the 29th November 2022.  This release includes some minor updates to functionality to prevent Non Effectively Registered (NER) player selection on an Electronic Match Card (EMC) where the league or competition requires only Effectively Registered players selected.


  • EMC setting updated to prevent NER or ‘Affiliated’ players and only allow Effectively Registered Players to be selected on EMC's where this setting is applied.  This includes previous saved team line ups
  • NER status to appears against all players all the time in name selection and notes once the EMC line up has been saved in both mobile and desktop versions.  This is to display for all players that are Not Effectively Registered or Affiliated and for those leagues/competitions where the setting does not require Effective Players only
  • Update to display the NER status of any Affiliated players that were selected on the EMC Summary (PDF Reports) for those leagues/competitions where the setting does not require Effective Players only
  • Update to Player Registration Reports in PRv12 to show Affiliated players and separate totals under the Effective Registered Players (Active) for each leagues and club
  • Updated Message in Team Management Module when assigning NER players to the Playing Squad to advise that the player/s cannot be assigned to an Electronic Match Card for this team until they hold an Effective Registration’ where this setting is applied.  Please see the article 'How to Make a Player Effectively Registered' if you need guidance on this
  • Once an AG player is affiliated to a club, if the parental/guardian account is not linked to the organisation/club, their account will be linked automatically
  • Emails from GMS are now able to be sent from mobile devices
  • Resolved the error of no Pending Affiliations to approve caused when administrators edit Pending Affiliations for AG Players
  • The ability to change to a non-default kit type under Team Management Module 
  • Resolved errors with the Weekly Club Stat Summary email links and click through's to the relevant grids  
  • The Membership purchase order on a mobile Android device has been aligned with desktop versions to make this clearer to display the payment method options once selected to purchase
  • Resolved Error message 'Error Getting Data' reported by some users whilst navigating to the People  > Everyone Grid 
  • Fix to resolve on Exports for the 'Date Added to System' not displaying correctly
  • Organisation Admin home dashboard now updated to reflect number of users and the click through of users who can access the Events module
